Initial Treatment:
1. Ice directly to the skin for 30 minutes wrapped with an elastic bandage
2. Post ice, do not wrap with an elastic bandage
3. Keep elevated
4. Take to an Emergency Room if you can not pull your foot upwards
5. Take to a physician to determine if there is a fracture
6. Take to a physician if the injured area appears extremely tight to the touch

After 72 Hours:
1. Ice every 2 hours for 30 minutes
2. Do not wrap with elastic bandage as this will increase the pressure in the area
3. Keep elevated
4. Rest
5. Watch for "Foot Drop"
6. Try to massage the swelling upwards
7. Perform toe raise and toe pull-up exercizes 3-4 times a day
